Kamishichiken, the oldest of Kyoto's five kagai - Geiko (Geisha) & Maiko districts, heralds the arrival of spring with its annual dance performances.
"Kitano Odori" has been performed by Geiko(Geisha) and Maiko for over 70 years!
The performance is only offered for 14 days from 3/20/2026 to 4/2/2026!
Here, one can savor green tea and sweets before the performance.

End the tour with strolling around the Kinkakuji Temple for magnificent view!

This walking tour includes a Subway and Bus 1-Day Pass. You may use it after the tour for more sightseeing or shopping (till end of the day).
All of the transportation will be by walking or using a public transportation.
Please wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for any weather.
