Conclude your tour with a visit to the Yame Chuo Dai-chaen, where you can admire the vast expanse of beautiful tea fields. Yame tea is a renowned green tea produced in Fukuoka Prefecture which is is famous for producing high-quality gyokuro, a premium shade-grown green tea.
Dive into Yame's famous tea culture with a visit to Ushijima Seicha tea factory. Learn about the tea production process and the region's rich tea heritage. The factory tours are available from mid-January to mid-June and from late September to mid-December. During the off-season, visits are limited to the Ushijima Seicha shop only.
