At "TAKUMIKUMO VILLAGE," you can enjoy the bonsai gardens that are a part of Kagawa Prefecture's culture, experience the original landscape, learn about history and techniques. The owner of the garden is a master with a strong will to protect and pass on traditional culture.The Italian cuisine served in the relaxing garden space makes the most of the delicious ingredients from the Setouchi region, and expresses the appeal of the ingredients in expertly made tableware. Please enjoy a relaxing time.
Additionally, at the "Hiyori Seisakusho Workshop," you will have the opportunity to experience making dried confections using "Wasanbon," a sugar that is traditionally produced in Kagawa.
You will also visit Shikokumura Museum, where you can stroll through Ritsurin Garden, a nationally designated place of scenic beauty, experience riding a Japanese boat, and learn about ancient architecture.

    Ritsurin Garden is designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty by the national government. With 1,000 beautifully maintained pine trees and a vast area featuring ponds, ponds and artificial hills, you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery as you stroll through the garden. It is said that the variety of scenery is what gives the garden its appeal: a different view with every step. You can also enjoy a 30-minute tour of the scenic Minami-ko Lake on a Japanese-style boat (with commentary from the boatman).

Enjoy bonsai gardens, a traditional part of Kagawa Prefecture's culture, and experience crafting. *You can choose one experience from the following menu: bonsai (kokedama), pottery, Kagawa lacquerware (carved lacquer), kintsugi, fans, or Japanese sweets. In the relaxing space of the garden, you can enjoy an Italian course meal that makes the most of the delicious ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea.

    Shikokumura and Wasanbon making

    Shikokumura Museum is an open-air museum located at the foot of Yashima, famous as the site of the Genpei War. 33 traditional old houses and historical buildings, mainly from the four prefectures of Shikoku, have been relocated and restored on a site of approximately 50,000㎡. The relocated buildings were actually lived in and used by people, so you can reflect on life in the past and learn about the wisdom and ingenuity of our ancestors.

    Hiyori Seisakusho At Hiyori Seisakusho Kobo you can experience making dried sweets using wasanbon, a sugar traditionally produced in Kagawa. Wasanbon dried sweets are colorful and very cute. Choose your favorite design from the original wooden molds and create your own original creation. The recommended design is the ""Takamatsu Bonsai"" design. You can eat the finished wasanbon on the spot, or take it home as a souvenir.
