Asahi Funakawa Spring Quartet - Witness a spectacular display of cherry blossoms, tulips, nanohana flowers, and the Northern Alps. Over 280 cherry trees line the Funakawa River for 1,200 meters, forming a picturesque tunnel reflected in the clear waters. Thanks to the dedication of local farmers, early-blooming tulips and rape blossoms add to the vibrant scenery.
Matsukawa Park is recognized as one of Japan’s “100 Best Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots,” featuring beautiful rows of cherry trees along the river. Enjoy a scenic river cruise through the cherry blossom tunnel, followed by free time to stroll along the riverside, explore Toyama’s charming streets, and sample local specialties.
An English-speaking guide will accompany the tour, providing insights and ensuring a smooth journey.

Meeting and pickup
West Gate (Kanazawa-kou Exit) is located on the west side of JR Kanazawa Station, opposite the Tezutsu-Mon Gate. The guide will be waiting outside Kanazawa-Kou Gate. Please gather at 10:45 AM. The tour will start at 11:00 AM.

This remarkable scenery is made possible by the dedication of local Funakawa farmers, who carefully plant rapeseed flowers and early-blooming tulips each year to preserve this seasonal masterpiece.
