    【Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine】 Taikoiwa Rock New Trail Hike (4–5 hours) This extended hike leads beyond the standard routes to explore deeper into Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine. You’ll pass through iconic spots such as Kugurisugi Cedar, Shiratani Mountain Cabin, Nanahon Sugi Cedar, the moss-covered Mononoke Forest (inspiration for the film Princess Mononoke), and Tsujitoge Pass, before reaching the highlight—Taikoiwa Rock. From the summit, enjoy a sweeping view that includes Mt. Tachu.
