This 2-day activity immerses you in Hamamatsu’s rich natural environment and seafood culture, offering hands-on insight into local fishing methods and producers. You will visit a whitebait processing factory with on-site tasting (or a video explanation if there is no landing), observe traditional gillnet fishing from a boat during the autumn season, or experience the unique nighttime Ebisuki fishing of Lake Hamanako in warmer months. The program also includes a fisherman’s meal made with fresh local catch, a farm experience, an eel farm activity with an eel-course meal, and a scenic sightseeing cruise on Lake Hamanako—famous for its brackish waters and thriving eel industry.

- The tour operates in the rain. However, outdoor activities (farming, cruise, fishing) may be canceled or replaced if conditions are dangerous (e.g., thunderstorms).
- The schedule or routes may change due to traffic, sea conditions, weekends/holidays congestion, or tides (Ebisuki fishing times may shift by 30-60 mins).
- If the first day is a Tuesday, some spots and times will be slightly swapped. Final details will be provided in your itinerary.
- For gillnet fishing, you will observe only. Do not touch the nets and strictly follow staff instructions.
- Seatbelts are mandatory. Please do not stand while the vehicle is in motion.
- Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited on board. Kindly take all trash with you. Leftover belongings will be disposed of.
- Please arrive promptly at the meeting place. No refunds for late arrivals (no-shows).
- Full refunds are only issued if the tour is canceled due to natural disasters (e.g., typhoons).
- Please personally take responsibility for your valuables.
