    Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

Experience the Tateyama Kurobe Snow Wall Festival in spring along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, where the famous Snow Wall near Murodo Terminal stretches for 500 meters, formed by clearing deep winter snow and creating towering walls that can reach up to 20 meters high. During the Snow Wall Walk, you can stroll between these impressive walls and enjoy the striking contrast of blue skies and pure white snow, a signature seasonal sight of the area. From mid April to early May, Panorama Road offers a snow covered walking path with sweeping views of the Tateyama Mountain Range, available only for a limited time before the snow melts. The Snow Corridor, connecting the rooftop of Murodo Terminal and the Tateyama Nature Conservation Center, features snow walls often exceeding 8 meters in April, providing another spectacular highlight of this seasonal event.

Sasara-ya White Shrimp Cracker is a rice cracker generously blended with white shrimp and baked using 100 percent locally grown non glutinous rice from Toyama Prefecture. It features a refined sweetness and rich aroma, while the crisp and airy texture is enhanced by pure groundwater from the Tateyama mountain range, making it widely loved. At this facility, you can also try baking the crackers yourself and enjoy them fresh.
