MARINA OF SANTA MARIA DI LEUCA, PONTILE i
With our sailing boat tour from Santa Maria di Leuca you can explore this area in the company of your friends or family. We will leave the port of Santa Maria di Leuca and, at the skipper's discretion, we will sail along the Adriatic and Ionian sides of the coast. We will admire numerous caves and inlets of karst origin and, at each stop, it will be possible to stop to swim in the transparent waters. During navigation, you can relax on board our boat and enjoy a typical fish-based lunch.
Ionian side Among the various caves that we can visit there will be the Grotta del Presepe, whose name derives from the suggestive landscape that recalls biblical themes, and the Grotta Tre Porte, whose entrance is characterized by its monumental entrance with three entrances. The navigation will then continue towards other caves and coves, such as the Dragon Cave and the Lovers' Cave, where it will be possible to make several stops for swimming. We will then return to the port of Santa Maria di Leuca, where our boat trip will end.
We will also make a swimming stop in the beautiful bay of Felloniche, located along the Ionian side and characterized by a shallow and sandy seabed with very clear water.
Adriatic side Passing Punta Meliso, the first cave we will encounter along the slope is the Terradico Cave, also called the Indians' cave due to its shape that resembles a tent. We will continue towards the Grotta Verdusella and the Grotta del Soffio, characteristic for the sprays of water that come out of its cavities. The last cave we will visit, before returning to the starting point, will be the Grotta del Laghetto. To explore it you need to climb some rocks, while a breathtaking view will open up in front of you with a freshwater lake that mixes with the sea water.
Along the Adriatic side, we will stop for a swim in front of this imposing cliff characterized by many stalactites and cavities
