Our house is at the beginning of the hill, about 80 metres from the Reboucas Tunnel entrance. It is opposite a 5-storey building.

The Paineiras visitors centre at the base of Christ the Redeemer offers a lookout and a chance to grab a drink and a snack. The centre houses a museum about the history of the area, including Christ the Redeemer and the funicular railway built to access it.
We enter the Redentor Road for some of the most amazing cycling of any city in the world. There are spectacular views, roadside waterfalls, and if we are lucky, forest animals passing by. This section is closed to private cars, so you can relax and soak in the world's biggest urban rainforest.
