Starts at 9:00 am , Central Siwa is dominated by the spectacular organic shapes of the remains of this 13th-century mud-brick fortress. Built from kershef (chunks of salt from the lake just outside town, mixed with rock and plastered in local clay), the labyrinth of huddled buildings was originally four or five storeys high and housed hundreds of people. A path leads over the slumping remnants, past the Old Mosque with its chimney-shaped minaret, to the top for panoramic views.
The mountain contains number of tombs. The tombs, which cover every inch of its base and are situated on its terraces and on all sides of the conical part, date from the 26th dynasty , the Greek and the Roman periods, though there appear to be no Christian burials.
The 26th-dynasty Temple of the Oracle sits in the northwest corner of the ruins of Aghurmi village. Built in the 6th century BC, probably on top of an earlier temple, it was dedicated to Amun (occasionally referred to as Zeus or Jupiter Ammon) and was a powerful symbol of the town’s wealth. It is believed Alexander the Great was declared son of Amun in this temple.
Siwa salt lake, with its clear blue color, is a natural lake that contains high levels of salt, which makes everyone who swims inside it automatically float, and many people go to it for treatment or recreation in the medical center located near the lake, as the salt water helps in medical treatment Natural for eyes, skin and sinuses. and you will have a time mixed with fun
One of the most famous attractions in Siwa is Cleopatra’s pool, a stone pool fed by a natural hot spring, where the Egyptian queen herself is said to have swum on her visit to Siwa. Tourists have all been doing the same for years now; after all, a nice swim is so refreshing after a hot summer day tour!
This fairly secluded pool is on a small island in the salty Birket Siwa, accessible across a narrow causeway. Nicknamed ‘Fantasy Island’ for its idyllic setting, the pool is about 6km from Siwa Town, and surrounded by palm trees and lush greenery. It's an idyllic place to watch the sunset, and there’s a small cafe among the palms, which is good for a spot of tea or juice .Now it is time to watch the sunset from Fitnas Island, enjoy the view with fresh juice and you also can ride the paddle-boat
