In this tour, we will explore some of the town's popular tourist sites, along with secret spots recommended by a local.

We will walk from Morito Shrine to the Obama coast, making several stops at tourist sites, local shops, and good viewpoints of Mt. Fuji and the beach.

From a heritage shrine, scrumptious wagyu, Kominka cafe, and cute donuts to comfy beach sandals, there are many things to see and do in Hayama!

Meeting point

Meet at JR Zushi station east exit 10mins before commencement. The local bus to Morito shrine will depart from Zushi station 10:30 sharp.

End point

The tour will conclude at a bus stop near Hayama Marina, close by Obama coast. The bus back to JR Zushi station will depart from this bus stop at 13:10.

    Morito Shrine is an unique shrine, located adjacent the Morito coast. The shrine offers picturesque views of historical architectures and monuments standing against a stunning backdrop of Mt. Fuji, Enoshima and the beach. Your accredited guide will provide a historical and cultural tour of the shrine, sprinkled with tips and etiquettes to keep in mind when visiting a traditional shrine. You'll even have a chance to try Omikuji (fortune telling on paper), with help from a translator.

    Morito beach offers stunning coastal view of Mt. Fuji, Enoshima and Morito Shrine in the background. You'll enjoy a romantic stroll along the sand while admiring the gorgeous view. (views of Mt. Fuji depends on the weather and density of clouds on the day)

    Around the neighbourhood of Horiuchi there are many interesting shops and beautiful eateries that are loved by locals. Some establishments we will visit include, (1) Asahiya- a local's beloved butcher where you can savor premium Japanese black. You can purchase thier signature hot snack, hayama beef croquettes for a taste of this Wagyu beef. (2) Soso- a stunning cafe and lifestyle shop located inside an ancient Japanese house which dates back to over a century (3) Misaki donut- a donut shop selling pop and unique flavored donuts. (4) Genbei- pioneers of beach sandals, selling great lineup of comfy and stylish beach sandals. (5) Megmog- a posh cake shop with artisan desserts

    Hayama Marina is the center of Yacht culture in Japan. At this site you'll admire the beautiful Marina while a guide sprinkle you with history and small talks about the place. You'll also have the chance to explore the surrounding of the Marina, where fisherman's port and seafood markets are located.
