This tour is the perfect day tour from Tirana. It combines amazing nature with cultural and sightseeing tour.
We will pick you up from the hotel and start the tour to Bovilla Lake. We hike towards Gamti Mountain and enjoy the views from 600 m to the Bovilla Lake. Our tour continues to Kruja. We start by walking through the Old Bazaar and continue to the Castle of Kruja, which houses Skanderbeg’s Museum. See a copy of the helmet and the sword of Scanderbeg in the main hall, the flags and stems of prominent families of that time who supported the national hero and a lot of the history telling by the guide.
After soaking in the culture and history, discover the current arts and crafts in the Old Bazaar. Look for souvenirs, including intricate local handicrafts.
Afterward, head back to Tirana.

1Kruja Castle
Located atop a rugged hill in central Albania, the castle offers a captivating journey through centuries of tumultuous events and cultural heritage. Upon arrival at the castle, we are greeted by imposing stone walls and sturdy towers that have withstood the tests of time. These fortifications, dating back to the 5th century, serve as a tangible reminder of the castle's strategic importance in defending the region against invading forces. The main citadel, perched majestically at the highest point of the fortress, houses a museum dedicated to one of Albania's most revered figures: Gjergj Kastrioti, better known as Skanderbeg. Inside, artifacts and exhibits chronicle Skanderbeg's valiant efforts to resist the Ottoman Empire's advance, showcasing replicas of his armor, weapons, and personal effects. In sum, a visit to the Castle of Kruja is more than a journey through time – it is an exploration of Albania's enduring legacy of courage, defiance, and cultural richness.

2Kruja Bazaar
The Kruja Bazaar, nestled beneath the historic Kruja Castle in Albania, is a vibrant marketplace offering a sensory experience of colors, aromas, and sounds. 3Lake Bovilla
Travel for 1 hour to Lake Bovilla. The lake provides a beautiful natural setting for recreational activities such as picnicking and hiking.
