Explore and shoot the bustling and energetic streets of Shibuya while learning to use your camera creatively. Capture fleeing moments on the streets of Shibuya. Learn to incorporate artistic vision and a wide range of techniques into your photography.

Meet outside the Starbucks in Tsutaya opposite the Hachiko exit of Shibuya station.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

You will explore the streets of Shibuya with your cameras, discovering new spots, learning creative techniques and capturing unique Tokyo moments.

By the end of the workshop you will have learned to use your camera in new and different ways while also developing your eye in a more artistic way. You will learn the most ideal camera settings for certain shots and be exposed to the creative trinity of light, composition and the moment.

You will also improve your timing in a street photography context and learn to better identify locations and get the most out of them when you are shooting.

You will leave the workshop with a variety of new tips and tricks and also some photos that represent what you've learned as well as capture the singular beauty and character of Tokyo.
