Puerto Seco is a long white-sand beach stretching off to palm trees in the distance, lapped by calm shallow water.

A beach hub for families, it's lined with snack bars and vendors hiring boats and skis. A waterslide and playground for the kids adds to the fun.

There are changing facilities at the beach, thatch huts for shade, food vendors and snorkel hire.

What to expect

The eastern side of Discovery Bay is rimmed with white-sand beaches. With its soft sand and limpid waters, Puerto Seco Beach, in the center of town, is a real charmer. It sports rustic eateries and bars and a fun park with a waterslide for kids not interested in suntanning. On weekends and holidays the beach is teeming, but during the week the place is often deserted. You can rent fishing boats, sea bikes and Jet Skis.

This north coast beach is truly a magnificence  of aesthetic  beautiful. Puerto Seco Beach is a true Jamaican experience, fills with locals, music and authentic Jamaican food provided by vendors. Without a doubt Puerto Seco Beach has the best water and supreme quality sand.   Another remarkable feature of this beach is its shallow waters which makes it a very friendly for children.
