After the Sunrise…
Once the cameras are full and the kangaroos have hopped off, we’ll head into Zarby’s Retro Café, a local favourite with classic charm. Here, you can buy yourself a hearty breakfast and a proper coffee to warm up, relax, and soak in the retro vibes.
We will collect you from the front of your accommodation. The driver will have a sign and be wearing a green shirt. If you are not at your pickup location stated in the booking, the driver will call the number used to make the booking. Please ensure this phone number is active and switched on to avoid missing the tour.
It's an early start: We leave Airlie Beach at 4:30 a.m. to watch the kangaroos on the beach at sunrise at the stunning Cape Hillsborough National Park. 1.5 hours south of Airlie Beach, the beach at Cape Hillsborough has gained international recognition for its sunrise kangaroos and wallabies experience. Every morning, the kangaroos and wallabies come down to the beach at sunrise to feed on seaweed and mangrove seed pods, and they don’t mind posing for a few photos! The sunrises here are breathtaking; you’ll quickly understand why it has become such a popular spot.
