Welcome to Lugano
I’m delighted that you’re considering joining this experience. This is more than a walking tour—it is a thoughtfully curated and interactive journey designed for travelers who wish to feel, understand, and connect with Lugano, not just see it.
We will explore Lugano as a living story shaped over centuries by culture, history, and human connection. From its ancient Roman origins and medieval heritage to its present-day identity as a cultural and financial center—including its forward-looking step into the world of Bitcoin.
Our walk unfolds at a relaxed, interactive and enjoyable pace, combining the city’s iconic landmarks with hidden corners, quiet streets, and authentic local perspectives. Along the way, I will share engaging stories that connect different periods of history with the present, offering insight into how Swiss, Italian, and European influences have shaped life in Ticino—from ancient trade routes and historical turning points to modern culture.
We can meet in front of the LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura (the glass building). Near the main entrance, there are public restrooms on the side (look at the picture). I will be holding a purple notebook so you can easily recognize me.
