- Quang Phu Cau (Visual and Spiritual): This village is famous for its incredible visual spectacle. It is a working village where thousands of vibrant, crimson, and pink incense sticks are laid out to dry, creating magnificent, Instagram-worthy "flower" formations. It connects you to Vietnam's spiritual life and the tradition of ancestor worship.

- Bat Trang (Tactile and Historical): This village is renowned for its 700-year history of ceramic making. It engages your sense of touch through hands-on pottery workshops and connects you to Vietnam's material culture and artistic trade.

By visiting both villages you move beyond the typical tourist sights of Hanoi and dive deep into the rich, living artisan culture that defines the area.

We’ll get pictures of people working among this sea of red. We have time to capture a variety of shots of the workers in action. We also venture further into the village workshops, shooting images of the incense-making process, including bamboo chopping, dipping the sticks in dye, and the creation of incense paste. We take more images of the friendly locals who have worked on producing incense in this village for generations.
