Next, we will go to Periyar National Park. It is located in the heart of the Western Ghats, which separate Tamil Nadu from Kerala. The lush vegetation of this area includes dense forests and vast spice plantations.

Afterwards we go out for a jeep safari in the mountains of Periyar park. Additionally, we will witness a performance of Kalaripayattu, an ancient type of martial art that is common in Kerala. The journey continues from the mountainous region towards the picturesque coastal area of Kerala, a territory that stands out for the vast tropical lagoon located in its central part. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful cruise aboard a traditional vessel along the Backwaters, a network of man-made canals, rivers and natural lakes that stretches like a spider's web across the Kerala region, gradually taking us towards Cochin. Lunch will be served on board during the cruise. Upon disembarking, the journey will continue to Cochin where room accommodations have been booked.
