Upon arrival in Chennai, you will be warmly greeted by your tour representative and assisted with your hotel transfer. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, a fine example of Dravidian architecture dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The temple’s colorful gopuram (tower) and intricate carvings make it a true cultural landmark of the city.

Continue to Gangaikonda Cholapuram, built by Rajendra Chola I to commemorate his conquests. The temple here mirrors the grandeur of Thanjavur, with stunning sculptures and fine stone carvings. Return to Kumbakonam in the evening. Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.
After breakfast, drive to Tiruvannamalai (approx. 3.5 hours), a renowned spiritual destination. Visit the grand Arunachaleswarar Temple, one of the largest temples in India dedicated to Lord Shiva, symbolizing the element of fire among the five sacred Panchabhoota temples.
