What to expect

Step into the heart of Georgia’s wine culture with this cozy and authentic tasting experience in Tbilisi.
Known as the cradle of wine, Georgia has been producing wine for over 8,000 years, using an ancient method of fermentation in clay vessels called Qvevri — a tradition so unique that it’s even listed as UNESCO Intangible Heritage.

During this 2-hour guided session, you’ll sample four distinct Georgian wines, carefully selected from different wine regions and styles — from small family wineries to well-known producers. Each wine tells its own story about the land, the people, and the centuries-old passion behind Georgian winemaking.

Alongside the wines, you’ll enjoy a beautifully presented cheese board featuring local specialties, perfectly matched to highlight the flavors of each wine.

As you sip and relax, your hosts will share the stories behind the wines, explain how Qvevri winemaking works, and guide you through the taste, aroma, and personality of each pour.

Whether you’re a wine lover, a culture explorer, or someone who simply wants to unwind with a glass in hand, this tasting will give you a true sense of Georgian hospitality.
