8 cultural art introductory workshops to be taught in 1 event offering a unique and wholesome experience of Old Town Antalya.
Workshops include traditional string instrument making, woodwork, metal, copper arts, rug making, leather, jewelry, and traditional Turkish coffee making.
The participants will be able to experience the introduction for 8 unique art forms interactively asking the artists their questions as they learn about the details.
Mingling with international people while experiencing their coffee or tea in a unique cafe with views of Old Town at the break and the activity with traditional tea and coffee making at the end.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is the Hadrian's Gate or Uc Kapilar in Turkish. That is the main gate of Kaleici and it is a few minutes walk from our first workshop stop. Please try to make it 5 minutes before 10 am. We will be holding a red flag so that you can easily see us.
What to expect
In the end, you will make unforgettable memories filled with beauty and unique art forms. All the workshop experiences will be held in Old Town within walking distance of each other.
WORKSHOP PART 1
String instrument making | Woodwork | Copper | Metal Art Workshops
You will be enjoying interactive workshops given by talented artists about Turkish musical instruments, woodwork, copper & metal arts held in separate locations a few minutes from each other. You will learn the basics of each art and be able to shop for personalized items affordably.
We will take a break in the iconic Spiral cafe to relax, socialize, and enjoy the Old Town views.
WORKSHOP PART 2
Rug Weaving | Leather | Jewelry Making | Turkish Coffeemaking
We will then move to the center of Old Town for carpet, leather, and artisanal product workshops. You will experience all the art forms.
We will end the event with a traditional Turkish coffeemaking workshop and tasting at one of the most beautiful cafes in Old Town.
