This is a shared shuttle. Pickups follow a pre-arranged route and may be affected by traffic or logistics. It is necessary to be ready 15 minutes early, as you could be one of the first stops, however, allow a 45 minute window for the transport to follow your route to your starting point. If you are not ready, the driver will wait a maximum of 5 minutes before continuing. No refunds will be issued if you are not present. The driver won't call first. You must be outside or in a visible place from the street. The driver will look for you by name, which will be on his list. The bus will make a connection in Antigua Guatemala or El Tejar, this connection will be handled by the same provider therefore they will provide the necessary instructions The type of vehicle may vary depending on the number of passengers (from a sedan to a van).
Arrival in Panajachel will be at the Socialtel hotel, where most hotels are within walking distance. From there, you can also take a tuk-tuk or a boat to other nearby villages.
What to expect
You can select the departure time that best suits your itinerary. If your departure point is the airport, we will support you with the rescheduling in case of delays if you notify us in advance.
During the tour, you will make a connection in Antigua Guatemala, where you will change buses. This stop can take between 15 minutes and 11⁄2 hours, depending on the logistics of the day. Upon arrival in Panajachel, we will drop you off at Socialtel Atitlan (formerly Selina), located a short walk from several hotels, restaurants, the pier and the town center.
From there, Panajachel and Lake Atitlan will be at your fingertips. You can tour viewpoints with spectacular views or take a boat to visit nearby towns such as San Pedro, San Juan or San Marcos, where you will find a variety of cultural, gastronomic and adventure experiences.
