Instead of learning about the content of the Anthropology Museum and the Chapultepec Castle by a traditional tour, we will keep the day interesting by hearing about our history while moving through the different areas of Chapultepec.
Itinerary:
- We start off by riding the Cablebus to get some beautiful views of our city while talking about current landmarks and an introduction to who our pre Hispanic tribes were.
- Once done we bike, walk or use a train to move around the forest, making our way to the Castle while taking some more of the tribes and the Spanish Invasion of 1521.
- When we make it to the castle, we learn about our Mexican Independence & Revolution while enjoying of more beautiful views that this place offers.
- Lunch stop in Chapultepec.
- We finish by visiting the Anthropology Museum to connect the dots of what we spoke about through out the day.

Best way to arrive to this destination is via taxi service. Drop off happens right in front of the cable bus station entrance. If arriving by metro, you will see the cablebus as soon as you exit. Your a 4 minute walk away from the meeting point.
We will ride over México City appreciating its beautiful views while learning all about its important visible landmarks and its fascinating history starting from our pre Hispanic times. With the help of some images and items, we will help illustrate the development of societies as shown in the Anthropology Museum and the Castle of Chapultepec.
Here we begin our walk, bike or train ride down to the Chapultepec Castle. Train rides only available on weekends, bikes are subject to customers request and/or we walk through the forest with direction to the Castle. During our travel through the forest we get to see some unique monuments and a small archaeological site. We will continue to hear more about Mexico´s conquer by the Spanish back in 1521 up until their Independence which is what we get to see in our first museum.
We will enjoy of more amazing views up in the heights of the Chapultepec Castle. This place also contains very valuable information about Mexico´s independence and Revolution to help us understand the transitions we went through.
We will finish by visiting the most important rooms within the Anthropology Museum to connect everything we spoke about through out the tour. We focus on the pre Hispanic communities which continue to fascinating everyone do to their development, achievements and their way of perceiving life and death.
