  Emirates Palace Marina

  Reza Rahmanian served as the outside architect on the building's design by WATG Architects. The hotel's layout blends contemporary design and construction techniques with Islamic architectural principles like hierarchy, balance, geometry, proportion, and proportionality. 114 smaller domes are dispersed around the structure, while the centre dome is decorated with intricate geometric patterns. The various tones of sand that may be seen in the Arabian Desert served as inspiration for the building's colour.

  Emirates Heritage Village

  The Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi is a living exhibition of the lifestyle and traditions of Bedouin and other cultures . It is a family-friendly spot to experience the traditional way of life in the desert. The village is an immersive time capsule, with an old-world souk (market), mosque, and camp modeled on life in pre-modern UAE . Here you can shop, discover artifacts, and watch artisans make pottery, blow glass, and weave fabric on a loom . The village also hosts workshops for traditional crafts where craftsmen demonstrate traditional skills such as metalwork, pottery, weaving, and spinning yarn. They may even let you try your hand at their trade too . The village’s little spice shop offers a range of dried herbs, handmade soaps, and plenty of souvenirs to take home to family and friends .

  Marjan Islamic Gallery

  This intriguing facility is home to a sizable collection of museum-style exhibits that feature one-of-a-kind works of Islamic art collected from the Muslim world as a whole, including Egypt, Syria, Iran, India, Iraq, Kashmir, and Russia. Among the items on display are painstakingly hand-woven pictorial and bejewelled carpets, silk textiles and royal robes, jewellery, ceremonial objects covered in jewels, expertly crafted weapons, marble objects, vases with Arabic calligraphy engraved on them, and miniature paintings. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff members are on hand to give you information about the pieces' origins, histories, and methods of manufacture.
