Hiking option (for fit and experienced hikers): 14 km mountain trail to 2,511 m with breathtaking views, including a traditional Kazakh Altybakan swing, then descent via the Moon Valley. Takes 2–3 hours up, 2 hours at the lake, and the same route back. Hiking boots required; trekking poles and raincoats provided.
