1Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli
Begin at St Peter in Chains, where the chains associated with St Peter’s imprisonment are venerated. Catholic tradition holds that the Jerusalem and Roman chains miraculously fused when brought together. Also see Michelangelo’s celebrated statue of Moses.

Visit Tre Fontane, the traditional site of St Paul’s martyrdom by beheading. Explore the sacred complex and learn the Catholic tradition of the three fountains said to have sprung forth where the Apostle’s head struck the ground.

3Basilica of Saint Paul Outside The Walls
Conclude at St Paul Outside the Walls, one of Rome’s four Major Basilicas and the burial place of St Paul the Apostle. Venerate his tomb and the chain traditionally associated with his imprisonment, and discover the basilica’s sacred art and enduring importance to Catholic pilgrims.
