Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels. Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

Guests staying at the Denali Crow's Nest Cabins, the Denali Rainbow RV Park & Motel, the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, the Holland America Denali Lodge, and even the Denali Bluffs Hotel will find that the ATV Tour Office is within eyesight and walking distance.
Limited parking is available at the Denali ATV Tour Office. If you have your own transportation, we recommend meeting at the Denali ATV Tour Site.
The Denali ATV Tour Office is centrally located at Mile 238.6 George Parks Highway, in the Denali Canyon. Turn into the Denali ATV Tour Office at Taiga Lane and the gas station, across the street from the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge.
What to expect
Total tour time is 3.5 hours; you'll spend 2.5 hours on the trail, covering about 20 miles (32 km).
There are several types of ATVs available: single-rider ATV option, a two passenger side-by-side option (pricing based on double occupancy), three passenger option, four passenger option, and a 6 passenger side-by-side option. Each ATV is 4-wheel-drive and has automatic transmission, and the side-by-side ATVs have roofs and windshields.
