Everyone who comes to Kyoto must visit this cool and fantastic bamboo forest to take pictures.
It is said to have been a vacation home for aristocrats in the Heian period (794-1185). On sunny days, the sun shining through the trees is pleasant, and on sunless days, it is dim even during the daytime.

Tenryu-ji, a Zen temple, is a quieter place to visit than other temples, allowing you to calmly enjoy the lovely gardens and decorations of the temple grounds.
