This tour focuses on Japanese sweets and experiences in Asakusa!
You will enjoy the famous ningyo-yaki (doll-shaped pancakes) and matcha (powdered green tea), which has been loved in Japan for a long time, and experience actually making "Amezaiku" (traditional candy sculptures) at a traditional Amezaiku shop near Sensoji Temple.
Amezaiku is a Japanese traditional culture in which candy is heated to about 90 degrees Celsius to soften it and then shaped beautifully with bare hands and scissors.
In this tour, you can actually experience Amezaiku at a specialty store in Asakusa, Tokyo, which has been preserving the high skills of Amezaiku craftsmanship!
After the Amezaiku experience, you will be dismissed on the spot so that you can continue to enjoy the Asakusa area.
A different kind of Asakusa experience for you!
We will meet in front of Burger King at Exit 4 of Asakusa Station on the Asakusa Line
First, let's take a stroll down Nakamise-dori, which runs from the Kaminarimon gate of Senso-ji Temple. Enjoy the long-loved taste of Asakusa.
Experience candy modeling at an Amezaiku specialty store! The shape of the rabbit you will make this time is also a subject for apprentice Amezaiku craftsmen to practice for their introduction to the craft, and is filled with many techniques. You will be assisted by Amezaiku craftsmen and an English-speaking guide as you create your own Amezaiku rabbit.
