At Fukagawa Fudo-do, we will participate in a Goma fire ritual, a sacred Buddhist ceremony. During this ritual, priests burn wooden sticks with written prayers to purify and remove negative energies. As part of the experience, you can offer your own prayers for protection and blessings. We go to a restaurant called Japanese Izakaya where you can have drinks and food at a reasonable price. In Japan, it is customary to visit several izakaya, and this time we will visit three. You can taste Japanese sake with oden and skewered dishes.
