2Jungfraujoch Top of Europe
• Train ascent and descent combined: ~2 hours 20 min total o The journey starts from Grindelwald Terminal via the Eiger Express cable car and Jungfrau Railway through the mountain tunnels. o Travel time to the summit (3,454 m): approx. 1 hour 10 min each way. • Spend around 3 hours at the top exploring the attractions: o The Sphinx Observation Deck (3,571 m) with 360° views over the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in Europe. o Ice Palace, a frozen tunnel carved into the glacier. o Alpine Sensation exhibition, telling the story of the Jungfrau Railway. o Enjoy lunch or coffee at the Top of Europe Restaurant or Aletsch Self-Service café. • Descend by the same route, passing through the Eismeer and Eigerwand viewing galleries inside the mountain.
