1Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe
Begin the breathtaking journey aboard the Jungfrau Railway, one of the world’s highest train lines, completed in 1912 after 16 years of construction. Travel through tunnels inside the Eiger and Mönch mountains to reach the summit station at 3,454 meters, Europe’s highest. Visit the Sphinx Observatory for panoramic views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in the Alps (23 km). Explore the Ice Palace, a network of sculpted tunnels carved deep within the glacier. Walk out onto the Snow Plateau, where snow lies year-round and peaks like Jungfrau (4,158 m) and Mönch (4,107 m) dominate the skyline.
