Your driver will meet you at the reception of your hotel or right outside your private address/apartment in Basel. Please ensure you are ready at the scheduled pickup time and that your contact number is provided at booking so we can easily reach you.
What to expect
On the day of travel, your professional driver arrives directly at your hotel, private address, or any preferred pickup point in Basel at the scheduled time. The driver assists with luggage and ensures everyone is comfortably seated before departure.
You will then travel in a private, comfortable vehicle reserved exclusively for your group, heading from Basel toward the Alps. The journey takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
During the trip, short comfort or photo stops can be arranged upon request.
As Zermatt is a car-free village, the drop-off takes place in Täsch, the official access point to Zermatt. Your driver will assist you with your luggage and guide you to the shuttle train, which runs every 20 minutes and takes just 12 minutes to reach Zermatt.
Upon arrival in Täsch, everything is arranged for a smooth and stress-free continuation of your journey to Zermatt.
