Following the road there is a parking area, coming from Manciano-Montemerano it will be on the left. The guide will be inside the parking waiting for you. It is possible to leave the car in this parking.
The hike will end 100 metres from the parking spot where you left the car. It will end in one of the most scenographic viewpoint of Saturnia the Cascate del Mulino where you will be able to take a refreshing bath in the hot thermal waters.
We will hike towards Poggio Murella, a small village, that overlooks Saturnia's bath. There lies an ancient roman water cistern. We will visit this ancient complex and from there our eyes will gaze to the horizon from a point of view that span from the mountain to the sea.
The Cascate del Mulino together with the Castellum Acquarum (a Roman cistern) are the highlights of this place. Get ready to bathe into this warm (37° celsius) water and let it soothe your pains and wash away the fatigue.
