Begin your adventure with a transfer to the historic Trail of the Axers, in the stunning Valley of Tierra Mayor. This ancient road, used in the 1940s for the collection of firewood, today becomes a gateway to some of the most spectacular landscapes in Ushuaia.
During the tour, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Carbajal Valley, the Sierra Sorondo and Cerro Bonete, surrounded by unspoilt nature and pure Patagonian air. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point with travelers is in our commercial premises, in the heart of Ushuaia, one block from the main avenue and is located next to the Hostel Yaghan. After meeting in our offices we moved by van to the beginning of the adventure.
What to expect
Then we drive to the start of the trail to Laguna Esmeralda, where the adventure begins. After traveling approximately 1.5 km, we will take a detour to the path of the axers, crossing the bridge over the Emerald River.
From there, take the road to the Beban Waterfall, crossing open landscapes overlooking valleys and mountains.
The last section is a gentle ascent until you reach the Beban Waterfall, from where you can enjoy a privileged view of the Beban Glacier while sharing a hot infusion.
Return will take us to km 17 of National Route No 3, with a spectacular view of the Carbajal Valley. Transport awaits us there to return to our office, where we finish the experience with a snack included.
