    Salt is another of Kampot’s important products. Ocean water is pumped into the pans from canals, then allowed to evaporate, leaving a thick layer of salt coating the ground. Workers rake the salt carefully into piles, collecting and moving it to storage. The salt field only operate in the dry season.

    Brateak Krola Lake

    it's not actually secret lake at all infact is a dame. a dame we built by slaves labor during khmer rude. impressive size is the man-made. A large lake, way outside of town, mostly unpopulated, with a dirt road around the lake.

    Pepper farm tours, restaurants, Kampot Pepper Shop, cooking school. A free 40 minute walking tour around the farm, with a pepper tasting in the restaurant / shop afterwards and many kinds of pepper corns for testing.
