Following a pick-up at your hotel in Funchal, you’ll begin this 90-minute tour to explore the city’s most historic areas and view points.
Your tuk tuk driver/guide will take you first to see the Old Town of Funchal, which dates back to the 16th century, when the island was colonized by the Portuguese.
You will see the Painted Door Project and you will also be passing by the famous Farmers Market.
Stop at Barreirinha viewpoint and enjoy the panorama before continuing on to even more spectacular views at the next viewpoint, known as Barreirinha. Take in the sweeping view over the Bay of Funchal.
There are still more viewpoints in store. Your next passage is by São Baptista fortress at Sao Pedro area, which offers an amazing city view over the Bay of Funchal.
We will zip through the charming streets of Funchal and head up to the breathtaking Pináculo viewpoint. Known as one of the most iconic spots on the island.
