    On the way to or back from Mont-Saint-Michel, we pass through Cancale, a charming fishing village perched on the edge of the Emerald Coast, overlooking the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Cancale is one of France's most celebrated oyster-farming villages, where the cold, nutrient-rich waters of the bay produce some of the finest oysters in the world. Optional: stop at the harbour for an oyster tasting straight from the beds — eaten fresh on the spot, with a squeeze of lemon and a view of the bay. A quintessential Breton experience. Oyster tasting is available at the harbour stalls and is not included in the tour price. Of course if time permits, you could discover the charming town.
