  • Tamarindo (Pass by)

Set sail along the stunning shores of Marino Las Baulas National Park and Playa Huevo, two hidden gems off the coast of Cabo Velas, Guanacaste. As you cruise past Marino Las Baulas, you’ll see thousands of untouched coastline — beaches like Playa Grande, Ventanas, and Carbón, surrounded by dry tropical forest and mangroves filled with seabirds, pelicans, frigates, and herons. Keep your eyes on the water — you may spot manta rays, playful dolphins, and sea turtles near the surface. From October to February, this area becomes a major nesting site for giant leatherback turtles, giving visitors a chance to see these incredible creatures coming ashore at sunset — a truly unforgettable spectacle. Continuing south, the coastline reveals dramatic cliffs, rocky formations, and hidden coves until you reach the secluded Playa Huevo — a small, private beach surrounded by forest and turquoise waters. Remote, peaceful, and pristine, it’s the kind of place that reminds you why Costa Rica is paradise.

    Tamarindo Beach

It’s no wonder Playa Tamarindo is one of Costa Rica’s most visited and top-rated beaches. Praised by TripAdvisor and international media like The Costa Rican News, Tamarindo is the most talked-about beach in the country for its breathtaking sunsets, where the sun melts into the Pacific, lighting the sky with golden, pink, and violet hues you won’t forget. Every evening becomes a living postcard : pelicans gliding above the waves, sunlight dancing on the water, and an atmosphere that blends nature, freedom, and pure life. Visitors call it “the best sunset of their lives” — an experience that needs no filters or words... just being there to feel it. Visiting Tamarindo isn’t just seeing a beach; it’s a moment that shows why Costa Rica is one of the world’s most stunning destinations. When the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll understand why everyone who sees it here dreams of coming back.
