One of the expert Drivers will drive you to 2 great sites in Tuscany. He will give you some info on the sites you are going to see. Stop at the paper laboratory, born on a paper mill and discover the ancient art of making “handmade paper”. The local master will teach you how to create a paper sheet, which you will take home at the end of the laboratory. Afterwards, transfer to Lucca. The town boasts the best preserved Medieval walls in Italy, they literally circle the historic center. Running for approx 2.5 miles, you can decide to bike the entire perimeter onboard an ebike, locally rented. Time for exploring the town on own.

    Tuscany

    From Florence to the Paper Museum it is partially a motorway road, until you get to Pescia town. Here, you will see Medieval streets which characterize its historical center. The town is divided by the Pescia River. On one bank lies the Cathedral, while the opposite bank hosts the modern city center. Time for a coffee in Pescia center, before you reach the Paper Museum.

    Your driver will take you to a great site, out of touristy routes, the Museum of Paper in Pescia. It is a one hour drive from Florence. It is located inside a true ancient Paper mill, born with the aim of preserving and handing down the ancient art of working and making “handmade paper”. The experience includes a visit to the restored industrial building and a narration of the history of the Magnani family. Then a paper making master will teach you how to create a paper sheet, which you will take home at the end of the laboratory.

    Montecarlo

    From the Paper Museum to Lucca you will drive through Tuscany, it is the territory of Montecarlo's wines. You will pass by some great vineyards. Stop for some great pictures along the way.

    Afterwards, transfer to Lucca. The town boasts the best preserved Medieval walls in Italy, they literally circle the historic center. Running for approx 2.5 miles, you can decide to bike the entire perimeter onboard an ebike, locally rented. Your driver will take you to one of the bike rental shops, if you like it. Time for exploring the town on own and for a great lunch. Do not miss to taste the "tordelli" lucchesi, a filled pasta, typical of the Lucca area.
