Experience Awaji Island on a private 10-hour day tour from Osaka or Kyoto with comfortable hotel pickup and a flexible sightseeing route.
For groups of up to 6 or 9 guests, an English-speaking driver-guide is included for driving, route communication, simple sightseeing suggestions, and basic local assistance. The driver-guide is not a licensed professional guide and does not provide in-depth commentary inside attractions.
If you would like to customize the itinerary, please contact us at least 24 hours before departure. If no changes are confirmed in advance, the default route is: Osaka/Kyoto → Maiko Park → Akashi Kaikyo Bridge crossing → Awaji Yumebutai → Izanagi Jingu → Osaka/Kyoto.
The 10-hour service includes pickup, driving, sightseeing, waiting, meal time, and final drop-off. Actual routing and stop times may change due to traffic, bridge congestion, parking restrictions, weather, road conditions, or attraction opening hours.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from hotels, accommodations, stations, or other agreed locations within the confirmed Osaka or Kyoto service area.
After booking, please provide the exact pickup address, hotel or accommodation name, building and entrance details, preferred pickup time, passenger number, luggage quantity, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp. For station pickup, please also provide the station name, arrival time, and preferred exit.
Please wait in the hotel lobby, at the main entrance, or at the confirmed meeting point at the scheduled pickup time. Free waiting time is 30 minutes. Overtime beyond the booked 10-hour service is JPY 5,000 per hour.
The 10-hour service is calculated from the scheduled pickup time until final drop-off and includes driving, sightseeing, waiting, meal time, café stops, and other confirmed activities.
For the 6- and 9-guest options, an English-speaking driver-guide is included. The driver-guide is not a licensed professional guide and provides driving, route communication, simple sightseeing suggestions, and basic local assistance only.

Actual routing and stop times may change due to traffic, bridge congestion, parking restrictions, weather, road conditions, or attraction opening hours. Not all requested stops can be guaranteed within the 10-hour service.
Please provide accurate passenger and luggage quantities. If the selected vehicle cannot safely accommodate the group and luggage, a larger or additional vehicle may be required at extra cost and subject to availability.
Service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional JPY 2,000 night-service fee. Pickup or drop-off outside the confirmed Osaka or Kyoto service area requires advance approval and may incur an additional fee.

1Maiko Park
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel, accommodation, station, or agreed meeting point within the confirmed Osaka or Kyoto service area. From there, travel toward Maiko Park on the Kobe coast, where you can enjoy impressive views of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the Akashi Strait.

Akashi Kaikyo Bridge (Pass by)
After time for photos and sightseeing at Maiko Park, continue across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge by private vehicle. Instead of only seeing the bridge from the shore, this tour lets you experience crossing it as part of your journey to Awaji Island.

2Awaji Yumebutai
On Awaji Island, visit Awaji Yumebutai, a distinctive architectural and landscape complex associated with renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Enjoy time to explore its terraces, gardens, geometric architecture, open spaces, water features, and coastal scenery. Awaji Island is officially promoted for its combination of nature, culture, mythology, food, and scenic coastal attractions.
