Enjoy a private 10-hour round-trip car tour from Tokyo combining professionally operated Minakami rafting with relaxation at Takaragawa Onsen.

Default route: Tokyo hotel → Minakami rafting → local lunch → Takaragawa Onsen → Tokyo hotel.

Your private vehicle and driver are reserved for your group throughout the day. A specialist third-party rafting operator provides equipment, safety briefing, paddling instruction and river supervision; the driver-guide does not lead the rafting activity. Rafting and onsen admission are self-paid unless specifically stated otherwise.

Contact us at least 24 hours before departure to confirm the rafting slot, participant details and pickup address. Traffic, weather, river levels, operator availability and facility hours may shorten lunch or bathing time.

6- and 9-guest options include an English-speaking driver-guide who is not a licensed guide; the 13-guest option is driver only with no English guarantee.

The driver-guide will wait up to 30 minutes free of charge from the scheduled pickup time.
Tickets, boat rides, meals, drinks, and personal expenses are not included.
If the driver-guide enters paid attractions or joins paid activities, guests cover their fee.
If multiple additional pick-up or drop-off locations are involved, a separate quote will be provided based on the actual route.

    Arrive by private car at the confirmed rafting base in Minakami and prepare for a professionally operated Tone River adventure. After check-in and changing, the rafting team provides the required equipment, a safety briefing, paddling instructions and river guidance before the activity begins. River conditions vary by season. Spring snowmelt can create faster and more challenging white water, while summer conditions are generally gentler and may include floating, swimming or river play depending on the operator and water level. All technical instruction and river safety supervision are provided by the professional rafting operator. Your English-speaking driver-guide manages transportation, timing, communication and basic local assistance but is not the rafting instructor.

    Takaragawa Onsen

    Recover after your rafting adventure at Takaragawa Onsen, surrounded by forested mountains and the Takaragawa River. Enjoy time to soak, change and relax before returning directly to Tokyo by private car. The large outdoor baths include mixed-gender bathing areas where guests use the facility’s designated bathing garments. Please follow the onsen’s bathing rules. Personal bathing garments cannot replace the facility-provided garments. Your driver-guide can explain basic onsen etiquette before entry but does not enter or accompany guests inside the bathing areas.
