Discover Chongqing's hillside streets, layered skyline and iconic monorail on an 8-hour private tour with hotel pickup and drop-off. Your driver connects the sights while you explore independently.

Default route: Chongqing hotel → Liziba Monorail Viewpoint → TESTBED2 Eling Factory (or Eling Park) → Mountain City Alley → Yangtze River Cableway → Jiefangbei → Hongya Cave → hotel.

All vehicle options provide a regular driver only, without a guide or guaranteed English-speaking driver. A guide may be arranged separately. The cableway ride is optional and its ticket is excluded.

The 8 hours cover driving, walking, waiting, sightseeing, meals and the return to your hotel. Vehicle overtime costs CNY 100/hour. Contact us at least 24 hours ahead for route changes. Traffic, steps, parking, cableway queues or weather may alter stops. Visiting every location or seeing Hongya Cave illuminated cannot be guaranteed.

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Pickup and final drop-off are provided at your confirmed hotel within central Chongqing. Hongya Cave is a sightseeing stop, not the tour endpoint. Different hotels or locations outside the covered area require advance approval and may cost extra.
After booking, provide your hotel name and full address, preferred pickup time, passenger count, luggage/stroller details, a reachable phone or WhatsApp, and any requested changes at least 24 hours ahead.
Please wait in the hotel lobby or agreed entrance at the scheduled time. Road restrictions at Liziba, Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave may require a short walk to a safe vehicle meeting point.
The 8-hour service runs from scheduled hotel pickup until return to the hotel, including driving, sightseeing, waiting, walking and meal breaks.
Vehicle overtime beyond 8 hours: CNY 100 per hour.
Separate waiting, extra-distance and out-of-area fees, if any, and any free waiting allowance will be confirmed before service.

    Discover one of Chongqing's most recognizable landmarks, where Line 2 monorail trains pass directly through a residential building. Visit the designated viewing platform and watch the trains travel through the structure. Enjoy time for photography and admire Chongqing's unusual three-dimensional urban design. This is an independent sightseeing stop. A monorail ride is not included.

    Testbed 2 Arts Center

    Explore TESTBED2 Eling Factory, a former industrial site transformed into a creative arts and cultural district. Wander through repurposed factory buildings, discover independent shops and cafés, and photograph the industrial architecture. Enjoy the contrast between historic factory structures and Chongqing's modern cityscape.

    Visit the Yangtze River Cableway, one of Chongqing's most distinctive forms of transportation. Enjoy views of the river, bridges and surrounding skyline from the cableway station area. Guests may choose to purchase tickets for a cableway ride, subject to availability and operating conditions. The ride is optional. A round-trip ride is generally more convenient for returning to the same vehicle pickup area. A one-way crossing requires a separately confirmed pickup arrangement on the opposite bank.

    Visit Jiefangbei, the commercial heart of downtown Chongqing. Explore the pedestrian square, see the Liberation Monument and discover the surrounding shopping streets. Guests can enjoy independent sightseeing, photographs or a short food break. Meals, drinks and shopping purchases are not included.

    Hongya Cave

    Visit Hongya Cave, known for its multi-level traditional-style buildings built along a steep riverside slope. Explore the public streets, admire the architecture and enjoy views of Chongqing's riverside skyline. If the itinerary reaches Hongya Cave after dark and the lights are operating, guests may have the opportunity to photograph the illuminated buildings.
