Enter the Peace Memorial Museum for a selected visit. We recommend keeping this stop around 60 minutes to avoid emotional and information overload while still allowing enough time to understand the history. If guests prefer not to enter the museum, this stop can be replaced with Shukkeien Garden or Hiroshima Castle exterior, depending on time and route conditions.
Visit the iconic Itsukushima Shrine area and see the famous floating torii gate. At high tide, the gate appears to float on the sea; at low tide, guests may be able to walk closer to the gate when conditions allow.
Enjoy a relaxed walk through Miyajima’s scenic area. Depending on the season and guest pace, this may include the Five-Storied Pagoda exterior, Senjokaku area, Momijidani Park, or short photo stops along the island route.
