This route focuses entirely on Hakone instead of combining it with distant Fuji Five Lakes attractions, reducing unnecessary travel and allowing more time at each stop. The journey connects four contrasting landscapes: the cedar forest and lakeside setting of Hakone Shrine, the open waters of Lake Ashi, the volcanic terrain of Owakudani, and the seasonal highlands of Sengokuhara.

The Lake Ashi cruise also forms part of the route. While guests cross the lake, the driver repositions the vehicle and meets them near the arrival pier, creating a smoother connection between the southern and northern shores.

Private transportation reduces the need for multiple train and bus transfers. Smaller-group options include an English-speaking driver-guide, while larger groups may select vehicle-only service or an option with a separate English-speaking guide.

Pickup is available from hotels, accommodations, stations, or agreed pickup points within the selected central Tokyo service area.

Please provide the exact pickup address, hotel name, building name, entrance details, preferred pickup time, passenger count, luggage count, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp after booking.

For hotel pickup, please wait in the lobby or at the main entrance at the scheduled pickup time.

For station pickup, please provide the station name, arrival time, and preferred exit in advance.

For apartments or private accommodations, please provide the complete address, building name, and entrance instructions.

The driver will wait for up to 30 minutes free of charge from the scheduled pickup time. Additional waiting time or service beyond the booked duration costs JPY 5,000 per hour for vehicles accommodating up to 13 guests and JPY 10,000 per hour for the 18- and 44-guest vehicle options.

Please keep your phone or WhatsApp reachable on the tour day. Pickup and drop-off points may be adjusted when stopping or parking is restricted.

Airport and cruise-port pickup are not included in the standard central Tokyo service area unless arranged and confirmed in advance.

    Walk through the cedar forest leading to Hakone Shrine and explore the traditional shrine grounds. Continue to the lakeside area for views of Lake Ashi and the waterfront torii gate.
