What's Included
Meeting and pickup
NOTICE: Kamikochi is open only from mid-April to mid-November each year, generally from around April 17 to November 15. Please plan your travel dates accordingly.
● Provide the lead traveler’s contact details, exact pickup address, passenger number, pickup time, and any luggage information after booking.
● Private vehicles cannot enter Kamikochi. Guests must transfer to a local shuttle bus at the designated access point.
● Local Kamikochi bus, taxi, and related access fees are not included and must be paid separately.
● This is transportation only. The driver is not a licensed guide and may not speak English.
● The driver does not accompany guests on walks or inside attractions.
● Matsumoto Castle admission, meals, drinks, and personal expenses are not included.
● Wear suitable walking shoes and choose a route appropriate for your fitness level.
● Return to each meeting point on time. Late return may reduce visit time or require an overtime fee.
● Keep your phone or WhatsApp reachable on the service day. If the pickup information is incorrect, incomplete, or we cannot contact you, the tour may not be provided as scheduled.
What to expect
Choose the vehicle option based on your actual group size and complete the booking.
2. Submit Your Details
Provide the lead traveler’s name, reachable phone number or WhatsApp, exact Nagoya pickup address, passenger number, preferred pickup time, and luggage quantity.
3. Receive Service Confirmation
The pickup location, time, vehicle arrangement, route, and meeting instructions will be confirmed before departure.
4. Meet Your Driver in Nagoya
Please wait in the hotel lobby, at the main entrance, or at the agreed meeting point at the confirmed pickup time. The driver will verify the destination and passenger details before departure.
5. Travel to the Kamikochi Access Point
Relax in your private vehicle while traveling from Nagoya to the designated Kamikochi transfer area.
6. Transfer into Kamikochi
Private vehicles cannot enter Kamikochi. Guests must change to a local shuttle bus or authorized taxi and pay the transportation cost separately. Explore Kamikochi independently and return to the agreed meeting point on time.
7. Continue to Matsumoto Castle
Meet the driver at the confirmed transfer point and travel to Matsumoto Castle. Admission tickets are not included, and guests visit the castle independently.
8. Enjoy Free Time in Matsumoto
Depending on the confirmed schedule, enjoy additional independent time around central Matsumoto before meeting the driver again.
9. Return to Nagoya
Board the private vehicle for the return journey. Additional waiting, route changes, or extra stops may require an additional fee.
10. Final Drop-Off
The driver will drop you off at the original pickup point or another pre-confirmed location within the selected Nagoya service area.
