Explore the Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi area on a private shore excursion designed for travelers arriving at Yokohama Port. Travel directly from the cruise terminal by private van, avoiding the need to transfer through Tokyo.

The standard route includes Oshino Hakkai, Arakurayama Sengen Park and Chureito Pagoda, and the Lake Kawaguchi area. Depending on the cruise schedule and available time, guests may visit either Chureito Pagoda or the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway as a major viewpoint.

Options include an English-speaking driver-guide who provides driving, route communication, and basic sightseeing assistance. The driver-guide is not a licensed professional guide.

This is a long-distance shore excursion. The itinerary may be adjusted because of traffic, weather, parking, attraction operating hours, or the ship’s schedule. Returning to Yokohama Port on time takes priority over completing every listed stop.

Mt. Fuji visibility is weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed.

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Pickup is available from Yokohama Port, including Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal, Daikoku Pier Cruise Terminal, Shinko Pier Cruise Terminal, or another confirmed cruise terminal. Central Yokohama hotel pickup may also be available when confirmed in advance.

After booking, please provide your cruise ship name, confirmed terminal, scheduled docking time, ship departure time, required return-to-ship time, preferred pickup time, lead traveler name, passenger count, luggage quantity, and a reachable phone number or WhatsApp.

Cruise terminal meeting arrangements may vary depending on port regulations, security restrictions, and the assigned berth. The driver will provide the confirmed meeting instructions before the service date. Please keep your phone or WhatsApp reachable after disembarkation.

Free waiting time is 30 minutes from the confirmed pickup time. Waiting or service beyond the booked duration costs JPY 5,000 per hour for vehicles with up to 14 seats and JPY 10,000 per hour for 18-seat vehicles.

The itinerary and sightseeing time may be shortened if immigration, port congestion, traffic, weather, parking restrictions, or the ship schedule affects the available time. Returning to the cruise terminal on time takes priority over completing every listed attraction.

Night service between 22:00 and 07:00 incurs an additional fee of JPY 2,000.

    Explore the traditional village area and its spring-fed ponds. Walk among thatched-roof buildings, local food stalls, and clear water channels. Mt. Fuji may be visible when weather conditions permit.

    Visit Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and continue toward Chureito Pagoda for panoramic views over Fujiyoshida and Mt. Fuji when weather permits. Reaching the main pagoda viewpoint requires climbing approximately 398 steps.

    Enjoy lakeside views, seasonal flowers, and open scenery across Lake Kawaguchi. Walk around Oishi Park and enjoy views of Mt. Fuji across the lake when the weather is clear.
