Ride aboard Heart's Desire: designed by famed yacht designer - John Alden, measures 53' feet and features some of his trademark design elements including a long bowsprit and dramatic, raked transom. Built in 1925 by T.S. Soule in South Freeport, Maine, Heart's Desire has been used mainly for chartering along the Eastern seaboard in New York, New Jersey, and most recently Massachusetts.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. At Fore Points Marina, you will see two blue picnic tables outside of the marina, across from the entrance. Please wait here for the captain to meet you and escort you down to the boat. There is parking available in a paid lot across from the entrance.

Spring Point Ledge Light is a sparkplug lighthouse in South Portland, Maine, which marks a dangerous obstruction on the west side of the main shipping channel into Portland Harbor. It was constructed in 1897 and can be seen on your sail.
