Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and collect your luggage before meeting your Go Vision Safaris representative outside the arrivals area. Enjoy a private transfer of approximately 45–60 minutes to Moshi, taking in your first views of Tanzania's green countryside along the way. Check in at Panama Garden Resort, enjoy a welcome snack and take time to relax after your international journey. In the evening, gather for a warm Tanzanian welcome dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan options are available with advance notice.

Chagga Village
Today is a genuine cultural exchange in a local Chagga community. Visit the village and spend meaningful time with local residents, taking part in traditional activities and learning about everyday family life, customs and community values. Cook with Chagga women and learn about traditional dishes, local ingredients and cooking techniques. Experience traditional songs and local stories while learning more about Chagga heritage and village life. You will also learn useful basic Swahili expressions and have respectful conversations with community members about local customs, education, family life and daily experiences. The day is designed to encourage connection, curiosity and mutual respect rather than simply observing village life from a distance. After the cultural activities, return to Moshi and enjoy time to relax at your hotel.

Materuni village experience

Materuni Village Experience
Begin the day in the fertile foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro with a local Chagga community in Materuni Village. Experience Tanzania's traditional coffee-making process from freshly picked beans to a freshly brewed cup. Take part in each stage of the process: learn how coffee cherries are picked, watch the beans being roasted over a traditional local fire, then join the rhythmic singing and dancing while grinding the roasted beans by hand. Finally, brew and enjoy your own fresh cup of organic Materuni coffee together with your local hosts. Enjoy a traditional local lunch and discover the flavors of Chagga cooking. You will also have an opportunity to see handmade artwork, jewelry and crafts created by local community artisans. This is an interactive cultural experience led by local hosts, giving travelers an opportunity to learn directly from the community while supporting local creativity and traditional knowledge.

Farewell to Moshi or Continue to Zanzibar

Enjoy your final morning in Moshi before beginning the next part of your journey. Depending on your confirmed travel plan, continue to the airport for your international departure or connect with the optional Zanzibar extension. Go Vision will coordinate your transfer according to the confirmed flight schedule. Travellers ending their journey today will be assisted with their departure, while guests continuing to Zanzibar will begin a new chapter beside the Indian Ocean.
