There are 3 stops on this full day tour.
The first stop is the ”Fanefjord” Church.
This 14th century church has a unique interior that survived through the Reformation in Denmark in 1536, when almost all Catholic churches had their interiors refurbished to accommodate the Protestant-Lutheran abolition of worshiping saints and a focus on the word, rather than the exterior and religious ceremonies.
Second stop. The rural town of Stege. This is the lunch stop.
Last stop is Mons Klint and the Goecenter.
From the Geocenter to the beach, some 400 steps down. Have a descent to the beach maybe find some fossilized remains of these million year old crustaceans, snails, and octopuses.
For those who are not so agile and adventures the GeoCenter Mon offers the geological history and explanation of the white chalk cliffs.
